Safety precautions for electrolytic cell shutdown operation:
1) After determining the stop of the slot, necessary tools for stopping the slot should be prepared in a timely manner, and tools in contact with high-temperature molten materials should be preheated in advance
2) When extracting electrolytes and aluminum liquid, a dedicated person must be responsible for lowering the anode. It is strictly prohibited for the anode to detach from the electrolyte, and it is strictly prohibited for the anode to descend to the bottom, which may damage the upper busbar lifting device
3) After a power outage, the insulation board must be removed from the short intersection, cleaned with a gentle breeze to ensure the cleanliness of the short circuit surface, and the bolts must be tightened
4) After tightening the bolts, check the temperature at the short intersection. If the temperature at the short intersection exceeds 100 ℃, handle it to prevent rapid temperature rise and melting of the short intersection
5) When a sudden slot leakage occurs, on the one hand, send someone to lower the anode, and on the other hand, notify the rectification station to cut off the power. It is strictly prohibited for the anode to detach from the electrolyte to prevent explosions and affect the entire series
6) On the other hand, timely identify the location of the leaking furnace, dispatch overhead cranes or manpower to block the leakage. On one hand, block the busbar with a baffle to prevent damage, and on the other hand, command the overhead crane or manpower to block the aluminum channel. If it cannot be blocked, timely extract the aluminum water and electrolyte
7) The extracted aluminum liquid should be promptly sent to casting
8) Strictly prevent aluminum water or electrolyte from leaking into the trench and burning the cables and wires in the trench to prevent fire incidents. Prepare fire extinguishers and strictly prohibit using water to extinguish fires
9) Sealing personnel must wear complete personal protective equipment to avoid scalding accidents
10) After the electrolytic cell shutdown operation is completed, place the tools used according to the requirements. Clean the site and inspect all the stopped cells and the surrounding area, and keep records of all aspects.
